Large rubber membrane filter plate and finished filter plate stacks in a production workshop

Membrane & chamber filter plates

Filter press plates from 300 mm to 2500 mm, matched to your press and slurry

Replace one damaged plate, rebuild a complete plate pack or source an OEM-compatible series with the fit checked before quotation. DOFIL confirms dimensions, port layout, plate material, operating pressure, sealing face and cloth interface for chamber, PP membrane, rubber membrane, tower press and stainless steel filter plates.

Filter plate range

Choose by plate size, structure and working condition

Size alone does not determine the correct plate. Compare the common formats below, then confirm plate thickness, chamber depth, feed position, sealing method, material and pressure with your existing press.

Replacement fit

What must match before you order a replacement plate?

A similar-looking plate can still leak, short-circuit the slurry path or destabilize the plate pack. These three groups of dimensions should be confirmed before a technical quotation.

Body and chamber

Outer dimensions, overall thickness, chamber depth, plate sequence and support points.

Ports and handling

Feed opening, corner ports, drainage paths, handles, lifting points and membrane connections.

Sealing and filter cloth

Sealing face, gasket position, cloth fixing method, membrane edge and contact surfaces.

Technical parameters

Filter plate specifications used for preliminary selection

These ranges describe available supply routes, not a universal rating for every plate. Final material, pressure, temperature and thickness must be confirmed against the drawing and operating condition.

Plate structuresChamber / recessed, membrane, CGR gasketed, plate-and-frame, round and vertical filter press plates
Size rangeStandard and custom supply from 300-2500 mm; membrane and chamber ranges commonly cover 430-2500 mm
Example models470, 500, 630, 800, 820 round, 1000, 1100, 1250, 1500, 1600, 2000, 2100 and 2512 series
Material optionsPP, PE, rubber / TPE elastomer, cast iron and stainless steel depending on chemical, temperature and pressure conditions
Typical thicknessCommon chamber and membrane thicknesses are available; the exact value is matched to the existing plate pack and press closing length
TemperatureSelected by plate material, slurry chemistry, cleaning method and operating temperature; confirm the continuous and peak temperature
Working pressureSelected by plate structure, material and press duty; provide filtration pressure and membrane squeeze pressure separately when applicable
Supply modeReplacement supply, OEM model support, private-label cooperation and distributor repeat supply

OEM replacement filter plates

Start with the closest OEM series, then confirm the actual plate

A model name is a useful starting point, but it is not the final fit confirmation. Open the closest series to review typical structure and application, then send the plate number, drawing, old plate photos or measured dimensions.

Production evidence

See how a replacement plate is checked before shipment

Catalog images do not prove fit. The useful evidence is the old-plate review, visible interfaces, finished plate inspection, plate-pack quantity and packing method.

Applications

Filter press plates selected for your slurry and operating goal

The same plate size can require a different material, chamber depth, membrane design or cloth interface in another process. Share the actual slurry and the result you need, including target cake moisture, cycle time, washing requirement and expected service life.

Mining and tailings

Large plate packs, abrasive slurry, repeat cycles and lower cake moisture targets.

Coal washing and minerals

Particle retention, cake release, cloth life and stable throughput under changing feed conditions.

Wastewater and sludge

Chamber volume, cycle consistency, maintenance access and economical replacement supply.

Chemical, ceramic and food

Chemical compatibility, temperature, cleanability, gasketed sealing and special materials.

Real plant and workshop photos help your team compare equipment scale, plate handling, access and operating conditions. They also give DOFIL better context for selecting the plate structure and replacement route.

FAQ

Filter plate questions from plant and purchasing teams

What filter plate sizes can DOFIL supply?

Standard and custom filter press plates from 300 mm to 2500 mm are available, subject to the press design, material and working data.

Can DOFIL replace plates from an existing filter press?

Yes. The replacement route can be checked from a drawing, used sample, plate number, machine model, measured dimensions and photos.

When should I choose a membrane plate?

Consider a membrane plate when additional squeezing is needed to reduce residual cake moisture, improve cake release or stabilize the cycle.

Can I order a complete replacement plate pack?

Yes. Mixed chamber and membrane packs, filter cloths, sealing parts, labels and export packing can be reviewed as one supply scope.
